How much does it cost to come to the fair?

Unlimited ride bands:
Monday-Sunday – $30

When is the fair open?

Hours of operation are:

Mon – Thurs – 5:30pm – 10:00pm
Fri – 5:30pm – 10:00pm
Sat – Sun – 1:00pm – 10:00pm

Can my children ride any rides?

There are plenty of rides for the children. There are height restrictions on each ride and children must meet height requirements.

Your child must be 36″ tall to ride alone on any ride on the midway…

Your child can be 32″ tall and ride with you on a very limited number of rides….

If accompanying a child on a ride the parent must also pay.

Can I bring pets to the fair?

No pets are allowed at the fair except service animals with proper documentation.

Can I pay for my tickets with a credit card?

Yes, we gladly accept Discover, Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.

Are ATM's at the fair?

There are ATM/s on the midway. Ask one of the Exchangites in yellow jackets for directions.

Where will I park?

Plenty of parking is available on the fairgrounds. You will be directed by security to the closest parking space.

Is there a charge for parking?

Parking is $5.00.

Will my vehicle be secure?

All fairgrounds parking areas are lighted and patrolled by security.

Can I go back to my car after I enter the fairgrounds without being charged for re-entry?

If you wish to leave and re-enter the fairgrounds you must check with security at the pass gate before leaving, otherwise you will not be able to re enter without paying.

Will I be searched when I come to the fair?

The South Georgia State Fair reserves the right to search all packages, bags, strollers, clothing, cups, pocketbooks, briefcases, your person, and any other objects deemed to be a carrier of any destructive or lethal device. Backpacks are not allowed. Concealed weapons are not allowed, even by permit. Persons wearing offensive or gang related clothing will not be allowed onto the fairgrounds.

These entrance guidelines will be enforced by the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department.
